Nkereuwem Okoro is what many nowadays would deem a rare breed, which can accurately describe him on or off the court. On the court the 6"5 long combo guard combines a dangerous skill set with the intensity and determination to be the best player each time he sets foot on the court. Off the court he is not looking for any recognition or anything special other than for his team and himself to be recognized and respected. In his first two years at St. Raymond High School in the Bronx, Okoro couldn't dodge the "potential" label that many gave him because of his size and skill set. Although this young man undoubtedly has a phenomenal future ahead of him, his current game as it stands now is nothing to overlook. Okoro point blank is one of the best guards in the nation in the class of 2012 and he list of suitors from many high division 1 schools hammers down that point. This alone would make a lot of juniors satisfied but Okoro has big plans for this upcoming summer. " This summer i plan on developing my game and body" says an already impressively strong Okoro. " I plan on taking some championships with my AAU team and also being invited to as many elite camps as I can". You can bet that this highly self motivated young man will do anything necessary to accomplish these goals. Okoro is a special player because of his team first attitude and lack of desire to put himself in the spotlight. Look out for Okoro on the circuit this spring/summer and you can bank on him dominating the opposition without anything extra.
